1 Killed In Crash Overnight In Norman

A man died overnight in a crash in Norman, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

The crash happened shortly before 2:45 a.m. Monday on State Highway 9 and Jenkins Road.

Steve Lawrence Jr., 51, of Del City, died at the scene due to massive injuries, troopers said.

Troopers did not disclose what led up to the crash and said it was under investigation.

Lawrence was not wearing a seat belt.
