Victim Struck By Bullet After Several Rounds Fired Into Norman Residence

Authorities are investigating a recent shooting they believe is connected to a string of recent shootings into homes and vehicles in Norman.

Police are seeking more information in connection with a shooting that left a 19-year-old injured. Authorities said they believe this shooting is connected to a string of recent shootings into homes and vehicles in Norman.  

The Norman Police Department said officers responded at approximately 12:40 a.m. Wednesday, September 9 in the 900 block of Deonne Circle near 12th Avenue Southeast and East Lindsay Street after several reports of shots being heard.

Officers located one victim, identified as 19-year-old Jalen Allen. Investigators said Allen was inside of his home when multiple shots were fired into the residence. Allen was hit in the leg.

He was taken to an area hospital for treatment and was released.

Investigators said several suspects have been identified, but no arrests have been made.

Information that leads to an arrest could result in a cash reward.
