Luther Fire Department Warns Of Mountain Lion Sightings In Town

The Luther Fire Department warned residents Wednesday not to approach mountain lions after reported sightings around town.

A mountain lion was last seen Wednesday evening between 5 and 6 p.m. near South Cedar and the junior high school, officials said in a social media post. 

The Luther Police Department posted an update on the reported mountain lion sightings late Thursday morning to social media.

Authorities said if you have a sighting to call 911.
