Tulsa Public Schools is installing 47 STEM centers in elementary schools districtwide.

Devon Energy is partnering with a national nonprofit to pay for the equipment. The centers have 3D printers, programmable robots, and kits that let students experiment with circuits.

“By providing tools that make it fun and break it down to a really easy way to understand it, we hope we’re setting them up for future success,” Christina Rehkop with Devon Energy said.

The first new STEM center is already running at Hawthorne Elementary.
