The mother of a young man murdered nearly three years ago said she can't move forward since there's never been an arrest in the case.

Alfred "Trey" Seymore was only 21 when he was shot and killed in Tulsa.

Trey's mom, Kellye Johnson, said her son brightened anybody's day, and he wasn't afraid to show people he cared.

It's been three years since his life was taken, and she needs to know who's responsible.

"He wasn't afraid to show or tell anyone he loved them," said Johnson.

Johnson said her son had a giving heart and a personality you couldn't help but love.

"The more we hung around, we were like okay this guy is pretty cool," said Keaton Sullivan, Trey’s best friend.

Sullivan said they met in high school and did everything together: basketball, skateboarding, you name it.

"It's something I'll never have again with anybody," Sullivan said.

Johnson said Trey was outgoing and strong and loved his family. She said at 21, he had big dreams and had recently fallen in love.

"He did have plans to move to Dallas a week after his passing to become a trucker," Kellye said.

But all that was ripped away from Johnson and Sullivan in November 2018, after someone shot and killed Trey in a hotel parking lot.

"Trey had his life stolen from him and we had our lives stolen from Trey," Sullivan said.

A year before, Johnson lost her other son to a drug overdose. Now, she's spent three years waiting for answers about who killed Trey, and she still doesn't have them.

"I've forgiven but I haven't forgotten, because as a mom I want justice," Kellye said.

Johnson holds on to her daughter, her friends, and the Lord. Her beautiful memories help her make it through each day.

"He has left so many good memories and thank God they cannot take that away," Johnson said.

Johnson said Trey saved several lives as an organ donor.

Detectives said they're still actively working this case and any tips are welcome. If you know anything, call CRIMESTOPPERS at 918-596-COPS and you can remain anonymous.
