An Amber Alert ended peacefully with a suspect and the child's mother in custody.

"Lighthorse police received a report around 4 a.m. this morning. A vehicle was stolen from a local casino," said Canadian County Sheriff's Office Maj. Adam Flowers.

Inside the car was a 10-year-old.

Police said his mother was inside the casino when Seth Grant took the car.

They said Grant drove the car to a gas station in Yukon.

They both went inside. The boy talked to the clerk and the clerk said something did not feel right.

"I knew something was different," said Nicky Roark, an employee for Sahi Plaza. "He said he was at Newcastle, and someone took his car, and I thought to myself, 'he is not old enough to be driving.'"

Soon after, the Canadian County sheriff's office got a call that the vehicle mentioned on the amber alert was at this gas station.

Deputies arrested Grant and booked him into jail.

Meanwhile, the child's mother was arrested by the Lighthorse police for child neglect.

The child is safe, law officers said.

Police said they have not been able to determine whether there is a relationship between the suspect and the mother.
