Bixby and Stillwater meet Friday night in the Tulsa Tech game of the week.
The Presley name is synonymous with Bixby football and it’s growing into a household name in Stillwater for Oklahoma State.
Brothers Braylin and Brennan Presley - both wide receivers - have been lighting up the field since they were little. What the two brothers do during games to make an impact might surprise you.
The Presley brothers lit it up when the duo played on the same team at Bixby high, bringing home a pair of state 6A-II state titles. Even though older brother Brennan is suiting up for the Cowboys in Stillwater, their bond hasn’t changed.
"Usually, you are like closer when you are together, but when he went to college, we kind of got closer, just realizing that we don't have a lot of time," said Braylin.
The brothers have taken finding an edge over the opponent to a whole new level. They text one another how the first half went, so they can be better prepared for the second.
"He will tell me what I'm seeing, so when he goes back out their last year, during the TCU game, the first kickoff return I had I thought I could have broken it and I texted my older brother Brandon, yeah there is a seam outside, so they both give me feedback," said Brennan.
The advice they give each other is pretty simple: a few words or even a video clip from the previous half. Most importantly, though, it’s motivation to go out and play with.
"You have to hit this hole, you have to do a, b, c, d,” Braylin said. “Sometimes it’s advice but it’s advice that really helps me in the second half and I really appreciate it.”
When the two eventually suit up together in Stillwater, the love of football and one another will stay the same.
"With him being far away right now, even though I'm going up there, it’s kind of nice to keep that bond with my brother," said Braylin.
