US House Ways And Means Committee Examines President Biden’s $3.5T Long-Term Plan

Congress is getting down to the real business of taking President Joe Biden’s $3.5 trillion long-term budget plan from an outline to detailed legislation.

The important House Ways and Means Committee is at the center of the action Thursday, marking up measures such as the president’s proposed expansion of Medicare to include dental, vision and hearing benefits, as well as a federal paid family and medical leave policy.
