OU Announces Return Of Tailgating, Other Game Day Activities For 2021 Football Season

NORMAN, Oklahoma -

The University of Oklahoma announced the full return of tailgating and other game day celebrations for the 2021 football season.

The designated areas for public and reserved tailgating will largely reflect the same areas as the 2019 football season.

OU fans will be permitted to set up tailgating equipment beginning at noon on the day before the scheduled football games.

Other game day events and gatherings that are returning this year include:

  1. Walk of Champions
  2. OU Alumni Association Boomer Bash – New location: Lissa and Cy Wagner Hall Lawn
  3. Sooner Club Champions Tailgate
  4. Tailgate Guys
  5. Varsity O Tailgate
  6. Fall Family Weekend will be held Sept. 24-26. More information is available here.
  7. Homecoming activities will be held Oct. 11-16. More information is available here.

OU Alumni Association Boomer Bash, Tailgate Guys, Sooner Club Champions Tailgate, Varity O Tailgate will return starting with the Sept. 11 game.

Game day events and traditions that continue for the 2021 season include the Allstate Party at the Palace, college events and gatherings*, Duck Pond RV Parking and SooneRVillage at Lloyd Noble Center.
