Two people are found dead inside a home in Northwest Oklahoma City.
"It’s just so awful, so awful," said a neighbor.
According to police, just after 10 Saturday morning someone came and checked on the family who lives in this home near NW 32nd and May. When the person got there, they found a man and woman dead inside.
"The manner of death is suspicious and homicide investigators were called," said Sgt. Rob Robertson with Oklahoma City Police. "They're on the scene right now to begin their investigation."
Police are not releasing the two victims' injuries as of now.
One neighbor who lives just down the street from where the incident happened says she woke up to a swarm of police outside. She says nothing like this has ever happened in the over 40 years she's lived on this street.
"I couldn't believe it," said the neighbor. "It's a very quiet neighborhood."
Neighbors also tell me they had never seen anything suspicious at that home before and didn’t hear anything out of the ordinary in the last couple of days. One woman says she believes the two victims moved into the house a year ago.
"They simply were quiet," said the neighbor. "It was a younger man and woman, maybe early 30’s, late 20’s."
Though she had never met the two victims before, she says it’s sad knowing something like this could happen.
It’s still early in the investigation, but so far, no arrests have been made as detectives continue to piece together any evidence in hopes to track down any suspect information. Police hope to have more details on what exactly led up to this incident in the coming days.
The two people found inside the home have not been identified. If you have any information on this case, you’re asked to call the police at 405-235-7300.
