Police Identify 1 Killed, 1 Injured In NW OKC Shooting

Police identified one person killed and one person injured in a northwest Oklahoma City shooting.

Officers were called about 7:45 a.m. Sunday to a business near NW 23rd Street and MacArthur Boulevard.

When officers arrived, they found 22-year-old Myesha Alexander who said she had been assaulted and a man in her apartment was shot.

Officers went to the 5700 block of NW 19th Street and found 22-year-old Phillip Gates dead inside the apartment.

Alexander was taken to a local hospital where she was treated for her injuries.

So far, no arrests have been made.
