Major Crash On I-44 Sends Two People To The Hospital

A major crash on I-44 just before 2 a.m. sent two people to the hospital, one in critical condition.

It happened on I-44 northbound near NW 10th Street. A car driven by Devon Whitmire of Stillwater rear ended a car, sending it into a fence.

Whitmire's car rolled multiple times, ejecting him from the vehicle.

Police are investigating if drugs or alcohol was involved in the crash.

Whitmire is at OU Medical Center listed in critical condition.
