A man is in critical condition after leading officers on a chase that ended in a standoff.
According to police, the chase started in Spencer.
The man ran from police until he arrived at his grandmothers house on S Holly Drive in Midwest City. When he got there, he barricaded himself inside.
After speaking with negotiators, the man walked out of the house holding a .22 rifle to his chin. He fired the gun one time and the shot was not fatal.
The man then turned the gun toward officers and fired twice before trying to run.
Police caught the man and he was taken to a local hospital where he underwent surgery.
