Deputies and state troopers responded to a hostage situation Thursday night in Pawnee County, that has now become a murder-suicide.
Pawnee County deputies confirm that the suspect killed the victim and then died by suicide.
They said a woman was being held against her will at gunpoint in a home south of Pawnee, near Highway 18 and 5000 Road. Deputies said there are no children inside the home, as they previously believed.

They said it is still an active scene.
Law enforcement said they haven't heard any gunfire or shouting. The OHP tactical team is also on the scene.
This is a developing story. News On 6 has a crew on the scene and will bring you more updates as we get them.
