Victim Identified After Deadly Overnight Shooting In SW OKC

Oklahoma City police confirmed the identity of a man killed early Wednesday morning.

The shooting happened just after 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of Southwest 36th Street and South Blackwelder Avenue.

Police said the man, identified as 19-year-old Daniel Green, was checking on vandalism outside his home when the shooting happened.

The victim was able to get back inside his home before dying.

There were other people in the home at the time of the shooting.

No suspect information has been released and police are still investigating.
