The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating a fatal police shooting that happened Thursday afternoon in Duncan.
According to OSBI's initial investigation, the shooting occurred around 4 p.m. in the 300 block of West Maple in Duncan.
A man, identified as Shawn Tillison, walked out of a home while pointing a gun in the air.
According to the report, Duncan police officers commanded the man to drop the weapon. After he refused, officers used less-lethal methods to try to take him into custody, .
Tillison then pointed the gun at officers. Then, the police opened fire.
The names of the officers involved have not been released at this time.
