Lincoln County voters head to the polls on Tuesday for a special election.

There are two resolutions on the ballot. The first is regarding a $13.5 million bond to build a jail.

The bond money would be used to acquire land as well as build and maintain the facility.

According to the resolution, the bond would be paid back through an ad valorem tax on property. It would be due in 30 years.

In addition to the bond resolution, voters will also see a resolution on the ballot to form an emergency medical services district.

Polls will be open in Lincoln County from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
