The hot temperatures will continue to be the story for your Friday and Saturday, but we are tracking a cold front for the weekend.
The front is expected to move through Oklahoma City by late afternoon or evening. Storm chances will go up during the day Saturday.
A low to moderate severe threat is expected as the storms develop late day and evening. Oklahoma City will see its best storm chances by evening. The main threats will be golf ball-sized hail and wind gusts to over 70 miles per hour.
Once the front blows through, the air looks less humid and not as hot for Sunday. Have a great weekend and keep your News 9 Weather App handy!
