1 Hospitalized After Being Hit By Car In Warr Acres

One person has been taken to the hospital after they were hit by a car Wednesday morning near Northwest 39th Expressway and Grove, Warr Acres police said.

According to police, the hit-and-run crash took place between MacArthur and Ann Arbor near Central Elementary School.

The pedestrian mowing when he was hit, and the vehicle did not stop. Passersby stopped and helped the victim, police said.

So far, police do not have a vehicle description but they are hoping to get surveillance video from nearby businesses.
