A metro family claims one of their own has been targeting them by allegedly breaking into their homes. They accused the man of stealing thousands of dollars in property and keepsakes from his relatives.

“He keeps coming back to the same places to take whatever he can,” said Jessica Reihing, concerned family member.

Reihing said her boyfriend's family was in shock earlier in June after seeing what appeared to be their loved one on video ransacking and stealing from a relative's home in southwest Oklahoma City.

The burglary suspect has not been arrested but Oklahoma City police and other metro agencies are investigating a string of burglaries involving the man's family.

“It seems the family members’ homes he has hit, it’s been expensive yard equipment, construction equipment,” said Reihing.

Not only that, Reihing said two motorcycles are missing, along with a number of valuables.

“Numerous items from electronics to jewelry had been taken in the burglary,” said MSgt. Gary Knight, Oklahoma City Police Department.

Relatives estimated the stolen items to be in the thousands of dollars.

The security footage showed the main suspect was not alone in the alleged break-ins. There were at least four others, including what appeared to be a child.

“We know for a fact with the video we’ve seen that it’s him. We don’t know for sure the other people in there,” said Reihing. “These people squatted in her house basically. So not only the damage to her items and possessions but just the filth.”

Reihing said the family’s concern was the man will continue to target his family until he is caught.

Police said they have names of possible suspects and DNA that could tie them back to the scene.

“It’s something our detectives are working on and waiting for those results to come back,” said Knight.

Officers noted in a police report, they went to the suspect's last known address but could not find him. His family believes he is a transient and was seen near Southwest 29th and Robinson Avenue.
