Oklahoma County's Metropolitan Library System To Eliminate Late Fees

Exciting news for book lovers in the metro!

Starting July 1, the Metropolitan Library System in Oklahoma County is getting rid of late fees.

This is part of a one-year trial program.

They are also wiping all existing fines on the same day.

They said this will eliminate around $400,000 in late fees.
