Hundred-Degree Heat, Higher Heat Indices Returns For Parts Of Oklahoma

Summertime heat is back Thursday. Highs will climb into the 90s and low 100s.

Heat index values wills soar up to 109 in the state.

There will be a chance for isolated storms in northwest Oklahoma Thursday evening. There will be a risk for strong to severe storms in Harper and Ellis Counties.

Thursday night will be warm and windy with lows in the upper 70s.

Friday looks hot again with highs near 100.

Rain and storm chances go up in the west and northwest for Friday evening as our next cold front approaches.
