The City of Tulsa’s budget for the fiscal year 2021-2022 has been unanimously approved by the city council on Wednesday.

The budget, totaling $799.4 million, is a 4.9% decrease from the last year’s adopted budget.

The budget expands the Community Response Team in Tulsa, a team that responds to mental health crisis situations. The team will now be able to respond five days a week, instead of the previous three days, and allows the city to hire a civilian coordinator for the CRT team.
