Amazing Oklahoman: Sydney Borchardt

News 9’s Amazing Oklahoman is 15-year-old Sydney Borchardt.

She was diagnosed with scoliosis at 10 and wore a back brace for two years before a life-changing surgery.

Borchardt raises money by selling crafts to donate toys and back braces to OU Children's Hospital.

Sydney leads a group called Curvy Girls.

Members meet monthly to discuss their scoliosis care and condition.
