OHP: Suspect Who Barricaded Himself In Vehicle Now In Custody

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers and the Tulsa Police Department have a suspect in custody after the person barricaded themselves in a reported stolen vehicle Sunday.

OHP pursued the suspect until the vehicle was slowed down by stop sticks eastbound on Interstate 244.

While the person was inside the vehicle, traffic backed up on the interstate's eastbound lanes.

The lanes have reopened since the suspect was placed in custody.
