Neighbors said they are fed up after the third fire at a vacant home in their community.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department responded to a vacant house fire Wednesday morning in southwest Oklahoma City.

The fire department said there was a fire at the home in March. Later, a car was on fire in the backyard. Now, another fire billowed through the front of the home.

Melvin McDonald Jr. said he's lived near the home for more than 20 years. He's complained for years about the upkeep in the area and the vacant home, but nothing has been done.

“We want the house to be torn down, because you can't live in it anymore. We've had several fires over there, and we've called about it and they've done nothing about here recently,” McDonald Jr. said.

The fire department said there was no one found inside the home and the cause of the fire is classified as undetermined.

The fire department said if anyone has any information on who could have started the fire to call their offices or the Oklahoma City Police Department.
