Summerlike Temperatures Will Bring Some Heat Indexes Near 100 Degrees

More sunshine is on the way Wednesday after morning clouds clear out.

It will be hot and humid. Look for highs in the 80s and 90s today with heat index values near 100 degrees.

There will be a chance for isolated storms along a weak stalled boundary and a surface low. The chances are low, but if a storm can develop this afternoon and evening, it could be severe.

Threats today are hail and damaging winds along with flash flooding. For Thursday, it will be a little hotter with heat index values from 100 to 105 degrees.
