Oklahoma City Public Schools said Friday that it is offering a 100% online enrollment option before the 2021-22 school year for the first time.

The district said it is presenting this option so that families of students won't have the need to visit any of the schools in July to complete the process.

“We are very excited to be returning to a sense of normalcy. As of right now, OKCPS students will return to the classroom, in-person five days a week this fall,” OKCPS Superintendent Dr. Sean McDaniel said in a statement. “We are confident that our families will be just as excited as we are about being able to continue providing their students with a world class educational experience. We hope by making enrollment 100% online and opening the enrollment window earlier than usual, this will help our families take care of this process quickly and easily. It is a very exciting time to be part of OKCPS.”

OKCPS' back to school registration portal is now live on the district's website, which can be found here.
