An accused serial killer was found guilty for the murder of a woman in 1997 in Oklahoma County.

William Reece was convicted in connection with the 1997 killing of Tiffany Johnston whose body was found in a field after going missing in Bethany.

Johnston went missing on July 26, 1997, from a carwash in Bethany. Investigators said Johnston’s body was found in a field and she was partially clothed.

Law officers said Reece has also admitted to killing three other people in Texas; two adult women and one 12-year-old girl.

Prosecutors called on about 20 witnesses including investigators from Texas. The final testimony detailed taped interviews with Reece.

The Texas Ranger who testified said only the killer and the investigators would know the details Reece told investigators.

Reece’s defense did not call on any witnesses in the case.

The sentencing phase of the trial will begin on Tuesday.
