The first round of the 2021 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship resumes on Friday morning after being cut short on Thursday because of severe weather.
The first round was suspended around 4 p.m. on Thursday due to severe weather that moved into the area, but organizers are hopeful Friday's event will be smooth sailing.
Tournament Director Bryan Karns said that organizers had planned for a severe weather scenario and expect to get back on schedule quickly.
Tournament organizers say the first rounds will pick back up starting at 7:15 a.m. on Friday.
Some changes have been made to the parking situation. Previously spectators were told to get dropped off or use a ride share service, but starting Friday, anyone who plans on coming out can park at the Mabee Center and ride a shuttle to the course.
The drop-off and pick-up location for the shuttles will be in the rideshare lot at 65th Place and South Lewis Avenue. Shuttles will run from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Tickets are still available for the championship rounds. They are $40 when you buy online.
