Pool Perfect Candy Cookies

  1. ½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  2. 1 cup granulated sugar
  3. 1 cup brown sugar
  4. ¾ cup creamy peanut butter
  5. 3 large eggs
  6. 1 tablespoon vanilla
  7. 1 cup all-purpose flour
  8. 3 ½ cup quick cook oats
  9. 2 teaspoon baking soda
  10. ½ teaspoon salt
  11. 1 (11 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
  12. 1 (10 ounce) M&M’s mini chocolate baking bits


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Cream together the butter, peanut butter, granulated and brown sugars together for 2 minutes or until creamy in a large bowl with a stand mixer or hand mixer.
  4. Slowly beat in the eggs and vanilla.
  5. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, salt, baking powder and quick cook oats.
  6. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture one cup at a time until mixed together.
  7. Add the chocolate chips and M&M’s slowly.
  8. Allow the cookie dough to sit for 20 minutes on the counter before baking.
  9. Using a cookie scoop, set dough onto baking sheet but make sure to allow 2 inches between the cookies.
  10. Gently press the cookies down so that they are not mounded on top.
  11. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until cookies are golden brown yet still soft.
  12. Remove the cookies to a cooling rack to cool. Enjoy with a big cup of milk!
