Southern parts of Oklahoma and OKC can expect a lot of rain and thunder as storms continue to strengthen through Sunday afternoon.
Heavy downpours are likely with several areas expected to see flooding and a good deal of lightning. Down south across south-central Oklahoma a few storms could become strong and possibly severe with a wind and hail threat after 2 pm.
Another round of rain and storms will make its way from the Texas panhandle overnight with another chance of severe weather. Overall, that risk should diminish overnight with a heavy rain threat continuing. The main complex will dive Southeast and may stay just Southwest of the OKC metro.
