Oklahoma City Police Investigating Double Shooting In NW OKC

The Oklahoma City Police Department is searching for a gunman after two people were shot overnight.  

The shooting happened at an apartment complex late Friday night near Northwest 10th Street and North Rockwell Avenue.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man and woman with gunshot wounds.

Neighbor Marnee Brown said she was walking outside when she heard at least six shots.

"It was loud. It felt, like, close," Brown said. "I had asked my boyfriend; I was like, ‘Are those gunshots?’ He was like, ‘Yes, that's (sic) gunshots.’ He was like, ‘Get into the breezeway, hurry up and go.’”

The two victims were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening.  Detectives are still piecing together the evidence to find out what exactly led up to shooting.

Police is looking for a suspect, but there is no suspect description known at this time.  

One of the shooting victims was later arrested on a felony warrant. The victim’s identities have not been released.
