Strong Storms, Hail Possible For Portions Of Northeastern Oklahoma

TULSA, Oklahoma -

Saturday will begin a stretch of days where different portions of Green Country will experience the potential for severe weather.

According to News on 6 Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer, there will be a few isolated strong to severe storms that will appear from Osage to Rogers counties.

A few of these storms are expected to grow to near severe limits for the next few hours. 

Wind, hail and a few heavy downpours are possible. 

The storms will move northeast out of the area during the evening. 

Additional heavy and isolated severe storms will be possible Sunday during the midday to evening.
