Rep. Mullin On New GOP Caucus Conference Chair: ‘I Think She’s The Right Person’

Oklahoma representative Markwayne Mullin believes the Republican party's new conference chair Elise Stefanik will pursue the goals of the party caucus.

House Republicans in Washington elected a new conference chair, one not at odds with former President Donald Trump, after removing Wyoming congresswoman Liz Cheney from the role.

Republican House members replaced Cheney with New York Congresswoman Elise Stefanik Friday morning.

“I think she’s the right person for what we need to finish out this session we’re in right now,” Rep. Markwayne Mullin (OK-2) said.
