We are tracking rain and storms in northern & western Oklahoma through midday Friday. The greatest chance for showers will be north of Oklahoma City.
This afternoon, highs will climb into the 70s and low 80s with breezy south winds. Storms may fire in the panhandles this evening, as well.
Those storms are expected make a run at western Oklahoma late this evening and tonight.
These storms will be strong to severe but will weaken as they move into the state. Quarter-sized hail and winds to 65 miles per hour will be possible. We have waves of storms possible across the state into the weekend.
The best chance for rain in OKC will be Saturday night into Sunday morning.
