Tulsa Police said they are searching for a man after a shooting at an apartment complex near Apache and North Peoria. Police said a person unrelated to the shooting was arrested at the scene.

Police said the ex-boyfriend of a woman showed up at the Edenwood Apartments around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday night and got into an argument with her current boyfriend. They said the incident escalated into the ex-boyfriend shooting the current boyfriend in the knee.

The suspect took off from the scene, according to Tulsa Police. They said the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the owner of the apartment and some friends were there when the shooting happened.

Tulsa Police arrested Kapriati McCain for outstanding warrants. Records indicate she was wanted for burglary and violating a protective order.

Police said McCain tried to run from them at the scene but was caught and taken into custody. Jail records indicate she will face new charges of obstructing a police officer and resisting arrest.
