A man is in custody after he was pursued by officers in a slow-speed chase just before noon Friday.
Oklahoma City police said the man reportedly left the scene of a traffic stop in northwest OKC.
The incident happened near Northwest 63rd Street and North May Avenue.
Authorities said the man refused to give an officer his identification and then proceeded to leave the scene at a slow speed.
The slow-speed chase appeared to come to a close when the man's vehicle drove over stop sticks placed by officers and pulled into a parking lot.
After officers pulled into the lot behind the man, he get out of his car and exchanged words with officers from a considerable distance.
The man then went back into his car and left the parking lot. Officers then followed the driver.
Authorities were able to catch up to the man at another parking lot on West Britton Road and North Pennsylvania Avenue.
This is a developing story.
