The Glenpool Police Department said the officers who shot and killed a suspect they said stabbed an officer have been cleared by a federal investigation.
Police shot and killed 28-year-old Julian Rose in December. Officers said Rose was suspected of beating a man in his 60s when they confronted him.
Police said he advanced on officers with a knife and refused to comply with officers.
The FBI conducted the investigation because Rose is a tribal citizen and the incident occurred on Muscogee Nation land.
