Chilly Low Temperatures Will Give Way To Mild Afternoon In Central Oklahoma

Most in the metro woke up to a very chilly start to the day. Some areas dipped into the 30s.

This afternoon will be beautiful with 60s and 70s with partly cloudy skies. There will be a chance for a few light showers through mid-morning in Oklahoma City.

The best chance for showers this afternoon will be in northwest Oklahoma. We will be tracking thunderstorms moving into northwest Oklahoma this evening and into the overnight hours.

Initially, these storms could crank out up to quarter-size hail. They should weaken as they move into the main body of the state tonight. There is still a chance for small hail and intense lightning.
