It will be warm and windy on Monday with highs in the 80s and a few 90s. Winds will be out of the south at 20 to 40 mph. Keep in mind there will be a high fire threat Monday.

Monday night, clouds will roll in, and there will be a chance for showers midday on Tuesday. Lows Monday night fall into the low 60s again.

Tuesday afternoon there will be a chance for a few scattered thunderstorms. These storms could be strong to severe and produce quarter size hail and winds to 60 mph.

As the evening rolls along, we will watch storms firing in the Texas panhandle. These storms will be on the dryline and will move into western Oklahoma. These storms will likely be severe with large hail up to golf balls, winds to 70 mph, and will bring a low tornado threat. These isolated storms will likely form into a line.

This line will move into the Oklahoma City metro area late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning.

Another round of rain and storms Wednesday afternoon and evening. These will also pose a threat for severe weather.

Due to the upper-level storm being so slow moving, parts of Oklahoma could see too much rain in a short period of time. Flash flooding will be possible south and east of Interstate 44.

We will continue to update you on the threats and timing through the day on Monday.
