Text Us! Here's How You Can Join The News 9 Texting Communities

In an effort to maximize the impact of our mission -- to keep Oklahomans safe, informed and entertained -- we have created some texting communities for you to have access to our newsroom and for our newsrooms to be able to connect with you.

This is just a fancy way of saying you can text us, and that we may text you back!

In Oklahoma City, we have four communities you can join:

News 9: Text us at 405-645-9023. You can text whatever you'd like to us, and the Community system will walk you through the sign-up process. There is no cost associated with this outside of whatever your mobile provider charges for texting.

Amanda Taylor: Text her at 405-645-9001. The same process applies for her community. And, yes, it's really Amanda texting you!

David Payne and Lacey Swope: You can text David at 405-358-4288. Yes, it's really David! And it's really Lacey, too, at 405-645-7605. You can text whichever word you want to these numbers, and by the way, you don't have to pick just one. You could join all our text communities and stay in touch with the newsroom, Amanda, David and Lacey.
