Oklahoma City police are looking for a man accused of breaking into several homes on the southwest side including an 89-year-old woman’s home.
The woman, who did not wish to be identified, said she wants him stopped so no one can experience what she did.
“You know, you feel violated. You feel like he should not have gone through all my drawers and my dressers,” the woman said.
The burglar threw a rock into the kitchen window to get in. She said he took off with several of her items, but left a trail of clues. His retainer was left on her bed in its case and several of her items were found throughout the neighborhood.
Surveillance video was also able to capture a photo of him burglarizing her home and another home about one block over.
“He lost more in his retainer than probably what he got here. He's a young kid on the wrong track and I just feel for him,” the woman said.
The 89-year-old recently had an alarm system installed. She said she's lived at her home for around 50 years and she's not losing sleep over this incident.
“I'm not afraid to stay. I never have been and I’m not going be anymore,” the woman said.
If you recognize the man in the photo or have any information call Crime Stopper at 405-235-7300.
