Firefighters Respond To 'Heavy' Edmond Housefire

Firefighters were on the scene of a residential fire in Edmond.

The fire was reported inside a residential neighborhood near East 33rd Street and South Bryant Avenue.

Authorities said there is extensive damage to the home but no one was home at the time of the fire.

The homeowners were notified of the fire. Fire officials said a neighbor of the homeowners rescued a pet from the burning home.
