News 9 Meteorologist Jed Castles said it’ll be breezy throughout the day Wednesday but skies are expected to clear and temperatures are expected to warm into the 60s.
The cooler temperatures are due, in part, to the cold front that passed through the state on Tuesday.
Castles said the metro will climb into the 60s around 3 p.m., but the cold weather won’t be done with central Oklahoma just yet.
Much of the state is expected to be in the mid-30s Thursday morning with some portions of northern Oklahoma could experience freeze or frost on the morning commute.
High temperatures Thursday are likely to rise back into the 60s.
