Lynn Institute In Running To Be Site Of COVID-19 Vaccine Trials For Children

The Lynn Institute is preparing to possibly be a location for more COVID-19 vaccine trials, this time for children.

Moderna announced last week they are starting trials for children six months to 11 years old. The Lynn Institute said they are currently in the running to be a trial location.

“I can certainly understand a parent’s concern about putting a six-month-old or an eight-month-old even a year old into the study, I understand that. But eventually, we are all going to have to be vaccinated, including our kids,” CEO of the Lynn Institute Carlos Blanco said.

The institute is not currently enrolling anyone for the trial.
