OSBI Investigating After Human Remains Found On Property Belonging To Cameron University

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is looking into human remains found on property belonging to Cameron University in Lawton. The OSBI said a man placing traps on land owned by the university, but not part of campus, came across a skull on Sunday afternoon. On Monday, more remains and clothing were also found.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is looking into human remains found on property belonging to Cameron University in Lawton.

The OSBI said a man placing traps on land owned by the university, but not part of campus, came across a skull on Sunday afternoon.

On Monday, more remains and clothing were also found.

The Bureau said based on evidence, the agents believe the person died from the elements during last month's winter weather. However, it said that the state medical examiner will make the final determination.
