Curbing Crime OCPD

The Oklahoma City Police Department is hosting a virtual town hall called Curbing Crime at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers of the Santa Fe Division will address illegal panhandling and associated crime.

The Oklahoma Eye Surgeons of Oklahoma City is offering free glaucoma exams for World Glaucoma Week.

You can get an exam Tuesday through Friday.

OCCHD New Vaccine Clinic Sits

Mercy Hospital and the Oklahoma County Health Department are hosting two more vaccination clinics Tuesday and Wednesday for Oklahomans to get their first round of the Pfizer vaccine.

This extends to anyone who is eligible to get the shot in phase one, two, or three in the state's vaccine rollout plan.

OKCPD E-Sports Tourney

The Oklahoma City Police Department Athletic League is branching out to video games.

The league will host its first-ever e-sports fundraiser.

The league offers officers and volunteers opportunities to mentor metro kids through sports.

Oklahoma City Public Schools will host a virtual teacher career fair Tuesday.

Candidates will speak with principals and learn about the open positions from, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Youth Resources Fair

Sisu Youth is hosting a free youth resources fair from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and will be at Nappy Roots Books, Sisu Youth Services, and the We The People's Culture Hub.

The event is for homeless and couch surfing young people between the ages of 14 and 24.

Necessities will be available like food, clothing, toiletries and bus passes.

Night Market at Scissortail Park returns on Friday, April 16.

This is in support of local Oklahoma shops and artisans in a monthly open-air market located throughout the park.
