Veteran Salute: Robert Thompson Sr.

We are saluting the men and women who served our country.

On March 1, we want to salute Army veteran Robert Thompson Sr.

Robert served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

His nominator said despite a back injury that leaves him in pain daily, he still managed to raise a family.

He also volunteers in the local community, including serving Thanksgiving meals to the less fortunate every year.

Robert loves his kids and grandkids and loves life.
