TULSA, Okla. -

Jury selection will begin this week for the man accused of being the getaway driver after two Tulsa Police officers were shot last summer.

Matthew Hall has been charged with accessory to murder in the shooting that killed Sergeant Craig Johnson and seriously injured Officer Aurash Zarkeshan.

Hall is accused of picking up David Ware after the shooting and driving him away from the scene. Ware is accused of shooting the two officers during a traffic stop in June.

Jury selection was supposed to start Monday morning, but due to COVID, the jury pool is smaller which is causing delays for all trials. Hall and Ware have both pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.

Hall's attorney previously said Hall had picked up Ware 30 seconds after Ware fired his final shot at the officers.

His attorney had initially argued the accessory to murder charges should be dropped, saying Hall gave Ware a ride about 21 hours before Sergeant Johnson passed away, but the judge said no. Hall’s attorney also pointed out that Hall has no criminal history.

Once Hall’s trial starts and witnesses are called, News On 6 will bring you coverage every day. Ware's trial is scheduled to start in June.
